- 2004-2005 Independent Computer Programmer - Westminster, Colorado
- Designed and developed prototype software to display U.S. Air Force satellite and aerial-photo data.
- 1998-2001 Computer Programmer - Research Systems Inc., Boulder, Colorado
- Developed new features for Research Systems' Interactive Data Language (IDL), a computer graphics programming language. Developed and maintained IDL demonstration source code. Created graphics for marketing materials and conferences. Volunteered design for custom demonstration software that was key in winning a large contract with Raytheon Company.

- Participated in a three-person team responsible for over $1.2 million in annual software sales. Provided software demonstrations, developed prototype applications, solved problems, and answered technical questions for company prospects and large accounts. Customers included Johns Hopkins University (Applied Physics Laboratory), NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Lockheed. Helped develop a free Precision Visuals software program for customers to access CIA World Data Bank II geographical coastline data. Recieved three company awards for outstanding service.

- Provided technical support (via telephone and e-mail) for customers and prospective customers. Products supported included FORTRAN graphics libraries, device drivers, and Precision Visuals' PV-WAVE computer graphics programming language.

- Tested graphics device drivers. Also maintained and developed device driver test programs.
